Three images. #1: "1941. Marla and Sharon Thompson visiting Sam Allard's daughter, Anna, by Delia, his 2nd wife. In Yakima. Anna and Karl Becht lived in Priest Rapids in the early 20's where Karl was a foreman on a large cattle ranch before the dams were built." #2: "1941. Sharon and Marla Thompson sitting on the sand dunes at the lower part of the Allard ranch in Washington. They were visiting their grandfather, Vern Chase who farmed the ranch at the time and they also visited with the great-grandfather, Samuel Allard, who lived at Allard near the ranch with his third wife, Hortense. Sam's second wife, Delia ran the old home place and Vern worked for her." #3: "1918 at Samuel Allard ranch on the COlumbia River, in Washington. Helen Allard, Sam's daughter, brought Verna and Mildred, she and Vern's girls by horse and buggy all the 45 long miles to deliver the horse and stay for a visit."
