Columbia Prison Camp (Minimum Security State Prison), Horn Rapids on Yakima River.<br />
Prisoners brought to pick crops from government claimed lands.

Richland Barber Shop, interior.<br />

Old Richland High School. Later became American Legion Hall.<br />

Original Richland High School. Center building was grade school with wings added later. Torn down and replaced by Lewis and Clark School.<br />

Richland Grange Hall, became home for Lutheran and Episcopal churches. Torn down. Site at corner of Van Giesen and Stevens.<br />

Richland Cold Storage. Freezer lockers were once owned by the original City of Richland.<br />

Milk Depot, formerly George Gress Butcher Shop.<br />

Richland Laundry and Dry Cleaning Agency. Old Richland Barber Shop.<br />

Murray&#039;s Hardware Store here originally, Post Office in end. On corner of Lee Boulevard and George Washington Way.<br />

Van Dynes pool hall and Yedica&#039;s Grocery Store.

Relton&#039;s Drug Store on George Washington Way.

Nelson and Dam Grocery Store on George Washington Way. Apartments were above, Hardware Store on north end.<br />

Richfield Service Station in center was operated by Mr. Needham. Hanford Housing Office on left - signed up for gas coupons, sugar, etc. Our recreation headquarters were located in this building also.<br />

Women&#039;s barracks with guards at the gates. Decorated for Christmas. Notation on back: &quot;At one time, 5000 women were housed in the barracks. There were five times as many men. Is it any wonder the women&#039;s barracks were fenced and guarded?&quot;<br />
